Nikos Kazantzakis International Airport provides access to any Cretan city (Chanis, Agios Nikolaos, Rethymno, Hersonissos, Malia, etc.), so that you don’t have to ride into Heraklion to reach any of them. You can use various bus lines, which ensure transportation in the municipality of Heraklion.
