The airport is serviced by KTEL Ko S.A. Bus Company and features regular connection with the city of Kos and many other ones. The ticket may be purchased from the bus driver. The trip will cost you 3.20 euro. The buses usually leave from the stop, set in 50 meters from the exit out of the hall of Arrivals. In the area of arrivals, travelers can also find around-the-clock taxi service or book a transfer beforehand.
The approximate taxi fare for a trip from Kos Airport to the city center is 30-35 euro. The final payment depends on many factors and may greatly vary from the sum set at the very beginning. In addition, if you take a taxi and suddenly get into a traffic jam, get ready to pay extra charges. Taxi car fleet is rather old. There are a few cars, which may provide a half of the desired comfort.
